Automobolista 2 feels broken/unsafe

I was wanting to see if there have been any plans to revisit the motion code dbox currently has out for AMS2?

I’m not sure if the new AMS2 physics update changed things in the way the dbox system produces motion or not but the experience went from very enjoyable ( 6 months ago ) to aggressive, latent at times, disconnected, and unplayable in certain situations. The shift affects are ridiculously aggressive, the motion for other effects feels delayed and there is an instance of the whole rig shaking uncontrollably if the car gets stopped facing the wrong direction. This makes feel like something is going to break.

I cant point to a single feeling in the car that feels good. I used to show off my rig with this sim for new players due to it being one of the better experiences, especially in vr, but I avoid it now.

I have used default d box settings, I have also toned down quite a bit as well from the default to try and tune things out but once things get to a comfortably drivable level there’s not much feedback left. Things are too low and the sim feels anemic.

I have the same experience on IRacing, but it only happens about half the time. The rig is extremely noisy and rough, but it’s clearly a software issue. I can usually just back out of the session and rejoin, which clears the issue most of the time. Sometimes i have to do it several times before it gets back to normal.
I updated the motion code, but it still happens.
They need to update the software to fix it.

I think the motion in ams2 is superb. Although I have turned it down to around 30% overall power.

I have done this with all my sim profiles.

I’ll post my settings later when at my simulator.

Do you still have the problem because I recently have the same problem as you. The platform is stiff and rough, limiting, this gives the sensation of damaging the cylinders. Did you get an echo from Dbox?

Yes, i still have that problem, but it usually goes away when i back out and load back in. They did respond, but they said i needed to give them remote access to my computer, and i don’t know how to do that. I just deal with it by reloading into the session, and that usually resolves the issue.
I hope they issue some sort of update, but it doesn’t seem like they are getting enough complaints to see it as an issue.
